RCD Technology for RCCBs and RCBOs

Western Automation R&D is a design and development company which specialises in Residual Current Device (RCD) technology for use in RCCBs and RCBOs. For more than twenty five years, Western Automation has been providing innovative solutions to major OEM manufacturers of RCDs. In North America these are generally referred to as Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs).

Western Automation provides design and technical support to enable OEM customers to incorporate RCD technology into their products. In addition to providing innovative solutions, Western Automation also provides a close working design service with client companies.

Integration

Western Automation offers PCB sub assemblies to be integrated into an RCCB or RCBO with Type A or Type B technology to IEC61008, IEC61009 and IEC62423 requirements.
